Behind JWI

Behind JWI puts a rubber logo on the back of the shirt and leaves the front empty. It shows itself after you have walked past rather than as you approach, which is exactly the appeal if you would rather your clothes did not announce themselves. Five colours are available: black, navy, white, dark grey and beige — enough range to go dark or light.

The cut is OverOver, noticeably bigger than our standard oversized shape: relaxed through the body, wide across the shoulder, with a neckline we had made narrower on purpose.

The real difference from the rest of the range is the cloth. This is the thickest fabric we make, good-grade 100% cotton, soft to the hand, and it does not shrink in the wash.

It suits people who genuinely want a big shirt rather than a slightly big one. Shorts, loose jeans or track pants all hang the same way under it. Sizes are named after the chest: S is 44, M is 46 and L is 48, with the length growing a centimetre at each step. Check the centimetre chart before ordering, and size up if you want it larger still.
